A Russian Imperial Chocolate & Peanut Butter Milk Stout Collaboration with Northdown Brewery, this is a big beer! Double Mashed to really give a thickness and sweetness to this boozy beer, Cold Stepped Dark Malts over 24 hours to add depth of flavour without too much burnt roast flavour, Lactose add to the Boil for Sweetness and Body, plenty of Oats with the Maris Otter in the Mash to help with Body, Cocoa Nibs added to the Kettle at the end of the Boil for a Rich Dark Chocolate infusion. Peanut and Chocolate added late in Fermentation to give the desired flavour of Peanut Butter and Chocolate.

On tap at The Taphouse Deal . Dark brown beer thin beige head. Chocolate and alcohol aroma. Very light peanut. it's mostly a sour dark cherry beer. As a dark cherry beer with a little sour edge it's good. like bramble jam. BlackBerry. jammy lovely fruit. light salted peanut. they would have done better forgetting about the peanut and concentrated on the fruit which is good. peanut butter and jelly? not terrible. it's not put of balance and hides abv well. I just don't know what it is. enjoyable ride. right beer wrong name. still liked it.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Nil aroma. Dark cola brown. No head. Light bitter with a streak of malty chocolate. Some hints of sourness and a umami edge which is the weak peanut butter trying to make itself known. Oily - almost medicinal mouthfeel. Flat carbonation. Slightly astringent finish. Alright but for an Impy Stout it's pretty bland.
