Originally brewed at the Clybourne Brewpub back in ’88, our house lager has been updated to take advantage of the best quality continental malts and hops. Clean and complex with strong notes of bread and malt combined with a spicy hop finish.

On tap at Goose Island Shoreditch Clear gold colour lasting white head. basic lager. some toast on aroma. light. fairly tasteless some bitter lemon on the finish. Dortmund would be disappointed.

Keg at Goose Island Brew Pub, Shoreditch, 15/11/19. Very light haze on a golden pour with a decent off white head. Nose is soft bread, grains, pale malts, straw. Taste comprises grass, pale malts, bread, faint citric zest, cereals. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent lager.

Keg at the brewpub. Low key sweetness with hints of malt. Slightly hazy bright gold. No head. Sweet with citrus sour. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Slightly astringent finish. Nice if lemonade-esque.
