What better way to celebrate the Oktoberfest season than with Fuller’s take on a classic German Kölsch? The infamous Fuller’s ale yeast combines with noble German hops for a fruity, crisp lager – brewed to reinheitsgebot, of course!

Keg at Hants Oktoberfest 2019. Sweet malty yeasty aroma. Gold. Creamy white head. Heavy sweet with a hint of crisp bitterness. Light. Thin. Soft carbonation. Abrupt finish. A lager. A very sweet lager. Enough said.

Keg at the Signal box. Euston. A Cleer golden coloured pour with a lasting fine white head. Aroma is apple, vanilla, custard, stake grains, flavour is composed of semi sweet, rounded base malts, vanilla, apple, custard, stale grains, custard, light woody. Palate is semi sweet, light tang, moderate carbonation. Ok. Bit weird. Meh.
