For this brew Ægir teamed up with their friends at Brew By Numbers in London to create something rooted in Norwegian tradition, while also adding their own twist using local bread. This is a Norwegian Farmhouse Ale with White Labs 6788 yeast—the number comes from the postcode of a farm local to Ægir where the yeast has been used for generations. The beer is deep red with a medium body and fruity notes, with a mild spice in the finish provided by a bit of toasted caraway.
