(Draught at King's Arms, Bethnal Green, London, 26 July 2019) Reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with dark bread, herbs, toast, prunes and coffee. Malty taste with notes of caramel, treacle toffee, rye bread, orange peel, a touch of coffee and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Interesting, quite tasty. Quite nice.

Keg at Brew Club, Hackney. Sweet coffee infused caramel and floral aroma. Light brown. Thin creamy translucent white head. Initial light sweet with a burnt edge to it. The coffee then becomes prominent with a sour berry taste taking over proceedings. Some underlying peachy citrus. Medium bodied. Slick and creamy. Average-flat carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Pretty nice but as I drink I moreabn almostv our milk element creeps in.
