24th Aug 2018, cask half-pint, gravity pour; 22nd Codsall Station Beer Festival. Red hue to the clear amber body, white crown. Malty front to the aroma and taste, good bitter finish on a semi-sweet biscuit malty base all blending together nicely.

Cask at GBBF '18, day 3, 09/08/18. Clear rich amber pour with a decent beige covering. Nose is caramel fudge, biscuit, sweet malts, brown sugar. Taste comprises caramel malts, biscuit, brown bread, orange peel. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Ok if a touch sweet.

ABV: 6.3%. Clear medium amber colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, fruity malt, moderate hoppy, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, dried fruit, malty, fruity hops, fruity malt, caramel, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20180802]
