Summer special in cask and keg only. This sensible and drinkable Grisette is our take on the traditional farmhouse ales that would have once quenched the thirsts of country labourers. For our own twist the beer has been aged in red wine barrels with our mixed culture. Little Earth Project is based where old stables were for the White Horse Inn and the beer will be available in the pub.

Keg at the brewery's White Horse Inn. Vinous apple cider aroma. Sparkling gold. No head. Medium sour. A smooth sour. Matches the aroma. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Flat carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Highly drinkable stuff.

Tap. Shakespeare’s, Sheffield. Gold, with a very light haze. No head. Nose has pressed dessert apple. Bit of rubber. Some woody notes. Taste is pressed apple sweet, with a light, acidic tartness. Light body. Very low carbonation. Tart and rubbery on the finish. Not great.
