7/3/2020. Bottle at my Birthday bottle share, bought at Inn At Home, Newbury. Pours clear mid ruby brown with a bubbly off-white head. Aroma of milk chocolate, light rasted malt, nut, dark fruit and caramel. Moderate sweetness and a slight metallic bitterness. Moderate body, watery texture, and it's a typically fizzy bottled mild. Malty chocolate finish. Ok.

Cask at Hants Oktoberfest. Low key fruit and cheese in a basement aroma. Dark. Cola highlights. Fluffy off-white head. Sour through to charcoal bitter. Medium bodied. Average carbonation. Abrupt finish. Not keen. Taste doesn't work for me.

Cask at the 22nd Egham Beer Festival. Dark mahogany with a loose cream head; aroma of wet woolen socks - unusual, but not unpleasant; thin in the mouth with some sweet dark malts and caramel; then a weak herbal bitterness to finish. An OK mild in need of a touch of spice.
