Poured from the tap @ Drake's. Clear yellow gold with white head. Citrus and pine hops, lightly chewy malt, fairly balanced, finish dissipates a little, but good.

Chewy amber early 2000s IPA from back when chewy Cali IPA was cool. I like Drake's, but I'm skeptical of an approach that takes a bunch of delicate hops, mixes them up so none of their distinctive characteristics can show through, and crushes their souls with chewy malts. The original ethos of Foraging Raccoon in 2016 was kind of the opposite of how this beer turned out.

Bomber from the Woodland Costco. Pours bright gold with a large creamy white head. Aroma is citrus, even somewhat mandarin orange. Med + body. Flavor is smooth malt with mixed citrus hop. Lots of hop. Lots of citrus. Approaching dankness. Mild hop burn. Bitter, bitter, bitter. Pretty dry. Very bitter. Think the Lemondrop is parsable. Good stuff indeed.

Golden with a white head - Tropical fruity hop aroma - Malt body to support a hop flavour that is tropical fruity with citrus and bitterness - The tropical fruity flavour goes into a dry bitter finish with some citrus notes - This was good
