Guava, lactose - comes together like a fruit lassi. Pretty good beer, and pretty good balance. Bittersweet finish. Hazy pour with decent head. Tap at Savor.

Tap at The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours extremely hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is vanilla hops? Med + body. Flavor is vanilla, citrus, and tropical. There’’s a spot in the quaff where it’s like an orange vanilla ice cream bar. The vanilla is perhaps a bit over done, but it works to an extent. Overall this is extremely far from drain pour. :) Finishes less than dry and fruitily bitter. I am liking it a fair amount.

Pint can. Orangey beige color. Off-white head. It’s opaque with haze or whatever. Lots of odd flavors bouncing around. It’s not fruity as much as actually fruited. There’s a tart real fruity flavor on top of a funny thin sweetness. The vanilla/lactose, apricot/peach and passionfruit are all very present and easy to pick out. It almost all works together nicely and it’s definitely interesting. It’s just that the vanilla sweetness and fruit flavors don’t quite mesh for me. Moderately bitter. Juicy fruit depth. Less of that vanilla is noticeable in the taste, but it picks up some in the finish, which is a little odd again. Kind of a spicier, danker lingering hop finish than expected. Some body to it. Fun beer but the combination of flavors isn’t quite right for me.
