Tap at Cap Tap. Pours hazy brilliant red (iPhone light backlighting. Pink head. Aroma sour/tart cherry. Med + body. Flavor is tart cherry - likely not cooking cherry though. There’s an accompanying sweetness. Well balanced though. And the flavor does finally suggest the flavor of the cherries in pie filling cans after the glop is sucked off. This is very tasty stuff.

On draft at Caps & Taps. It pours a deep purple color with a nice pinkish head. The aroma has huge cherries and cherry skins. A little cherry syrup, but seemingly good acid level too. Tiny bit of funk. The flavor is great. Massive cherry character, mostly sweet but there is some pleasant tartness in the background. Soft carbonation. Only a hint of graininess in the aftertaste that doesn’t cross over into popcorn territory like so many other beers like this. Cherries are dominant.
