Radler is a refreshing and crisp combination of beer and lemon juice and natural flavors. The beer is brewed with hallertau hops, 90% pilsner malt, 5% Munich malt and 5% carahell. Additional ingredients: sugar, lemon juice from concentrate. Stats: 4% alcohol by volume and 9 bittering units.

$1.09 bottle from Trader Joe’s Charlottesville. Pours pale gold with a large white head. Mild aroma of lemon, little else. Whoa, holy sugar. Way too sweet lemon flavor and some bready malts. What’s that I hear from the other room? Oh, it’s my sink, and he’s thirsty. And his palate is much less snooty than mine.
