Sampled from a bottle this beer poured a hazy amber color with a large foamy orange-white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was slightly tangy, sweet and malty. The flavor was tangy and sweet with lemonade, orange, sugar and an off note. Medium length finish. Medium body.

Bottle. Pours a clear yellow with a bubbly white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a strong sweet lemon note with a light sweet grain note underlying. Flavor is sweet with a lemonade note backed by a touch of sweet grains.

Bottle from the Trader Joe’s in Davis, CA. Pours amber gold with a transient white head. Light lemon/citrus aroma. Approaching med body. Flavor is lemon and bread more towards wheat than white. Certainly not dry, and the citrus isn’t enough to cut the sugar. Think I prefer ones from Europe.

Clear golden coloured body with a honey glow and no head at all to speak of. Aroma of grass, honey, light malt, cardboard and a bit more sweetness from honey. Medium-bodied; Very sweet honey flavours with some citrus, grain and cereal all noticeable showing a big pungent body right behind. Aftertaste shows some sweetness from the unfinished sugars along with some alcohol bite, a lot of citrus and some mellow assertive flavours that pop up. Overall, a sweet and relatively strong flavoured beer at first that ends with a mellow touch and some sweetness coupled with the large malt profile, but not much in terms of fresh or sour flavours - this is much more reminiscent of sugars and a soft warm character. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Trader Joe’s in Arlington (Skyline/Bailey’s Crossroads), Virginia on 19-November-2016 for US$1,09 sampled at home in Washington.
