In collaboration with Tsiakkas winery we are going beyond the normal boundaries of the versatile indigenous variety of Cyprus, Xynisteri. A combination of the wild yeast from the variety with the brewers yeast create a unique grape ale. A full body grape ale with lingering aromas of citrus and white flowers and a lasting aftertaste.

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma bianco sporco media grana persistente, colore ambrato torbido, al naso vino bianco note floreali, in bocca è vinosa dolcina acidina uva dolce Xynisteri su tutti, corpo rotondo, carbonazione forte che la rende molto bevibile, alcool perfettamente bilanciato praticamente impercepibile, piacevole dolce con amaro moderato. Perfetta per questa ultima sera a Polis e poi compio 49 anni e va tutto bene. Spettacolo. c. Cava Spiritology, Larnaca Cipro, b. Eliofos Elegant Maisonettes Polis 08.07.25

Bottle at BBT 06/2024. Hoppy and malty aroma and taste, grapes, green apples, medium bitter, light to medium sweet. Medium body, malty fruity bitter sweet finish. Ok.

Murky pale golden color with low white head. Aroma: grape, white grape lemonade, funk, Taste: grape, musty, cellar, green apple.

BBT 06/2024. Deep golden color with medium white head. Aroma of malt, grape, light alcohol. Taste starts malty followed by sweet grapes, funk, alcohol.

Gylden brun klar med beige skum. Lukter honning, trevirke, hvitvin og noe gjær. Fyldig. Søt, noe sursyrlig smak. Vinøs, noe svovel, trevirke og blomster. Noe sitrusbitterhet i avslutningen.

Bottle. This one goes easy too. Loads of Grape feel on both tongue and nose. Tasty and enjoyable.

30.5.2022. Bottle. Thin body, rather high carbonation. Quite intensely grapey, fully fruity. Medium sourness and tartness, low sweetness, low bitterness, not very beery. 3,8. Rerate, 12.6.2024. Also drank a couple when in Cyprus a month ago whence I brought this bottle to Brati. 2021 harvest, at least it says so on the label. Lots of apples, grapes, raisins. I liked the 8% version more. I would give it 3,4-3,5 now, but I am leaving it as is.
