Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 05/07/22. Clear golden with a decent lasting white cap. Nose is fruit esters, bubblegum, light candied fruits, herb, light spice, touch of yeast. Taste comprises fruit cake, caramel, candied fruit peel, herb, yeast esters, kiss of alcohol. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Decent as tripels go ... good balance, not overly sweet and a kick of alcohol.

Very huge, off-white head over clear golden beer, not very carbonated but leaving lace. Dry, spicy malts, garden herbs & weeds, dried continental hops, whiff of vanilla. Dry, tripel-like, malty in a just lightly-toasted way. A bit metallic/galvanic. Ultra-dry finish with a mere hint of alcohol sweetness. Very high attenuation, almost Duvel-like giving a dry, alcohol-hidden force and drinkability. Remarkable beer. Utterly strong blonde Belgian somewhere half-way Westmalle tripel and Duvel.
