Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass deep black, nice brownish head. Starts intense malty, roasty, heavy, boozy. Modest alcoholic. Notes of strong coffee. Finish warming-malty, still some alcohol. Nice experience!

0,33 l bottle bought at the brewery. Again pours out black oily with a mighty more than three finger beige head. Cold coffee on the nose. Taste starts again with a lot of coffee. A lot! Also fruity and some salty elements in the background with lactic acid. Beside this it´s really smooth. No carbonation. A little bit too salty or acid in my opinion. Hidden alcohol.

On tap at Craft Beer Bar, Bremen, as "Gevatter Stout X mit Cross Coffee". Pours black with dense beige head. Aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, some fruity notes. Tastes sweet with roasted bitterness. Medium bodied, bitter finish.
