Can from Lidl. Black bid in with a beige head. Faint lacing. Aroma of cherry, vanilla and dark chocolate. Flavour of Black Forest gateau and copper penny. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. This is very nice and it pleases me that there’s no lactose used.

Can from Lidl Bucksburn. It pours darkest brown to black with a decent fluffy khaki head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, charred, toasty, nutty, cacao nibs, coffee, praline, Nutella, Vanilla and pipe tobacco. The taste is drying upfront, bitter, rich roasted malt, toasty, charred, burnt toast, nuttiness, vanilla, bitter coffee grounds, espresso, nutty, praline and some toasty peppery spice with a drying, charred finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Decent, steers away from sweetness.
