10/10/2024. Cask at Nottingham Beer & Cider Festival 2024. Pours clear mahogany brown with a frothy off-white to beige head. Good pour. Aroma is toffee, biscuit, malty, toasted, prune, dried fruits, plastic. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness and body. Smooth, with average to soft carbonation. Quite liked this.

Can, brewed/canned at RiverWalk, best before November 2024, drunk 9/8/24. Clear, dark maple-mahogany. Large, dark beige/light tan head shows good retention. Roasty, smokey, caramel-forward with excellent maltiness, clean and lightly fruity. Some mineral and toast lingering on the finish. Very roasty up front. Decidedly much more thin than expected based on the rich nose, unfortunately. No doubt a product of being brewed at RiverWalk, producer of shitty, poor quality beers. The flavors are great...brown sugar, maple, caramel, gentle roast and toast. But the body is just not even close to there for the size of the beer. It's clean, at least. Probably going to stop buying Amory's Tomb beers that are contract canned at RiverWalk. So, so, so much worse than the beer brewed at the actual brewery.
