ABV: 6.0%. Hazy light medium red amber colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, jam, marmalade, light caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, sweet malt, caramel, jam, marmalade. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Keg @ Beer Heroes, Chester. Pours murky reddish amber, off-white head. Aroma has distant raspberries, sweet malt. Expected vibrant jammy raspberry in the taste, as in previous Hatter beers, but it seems noticeably lacking this time. It does appear to be there nestled underneath sweet malt, soft lactose and very light vanilla hints, but sadly not as prominent as I was hoping.
