From old tasting notes. Deep ruby red, brown color topped by a rocky beige head. Spicy, aromatic malt/hop nose. Peppery, bittersweet roasted malt flavor hints at radicchio and espresso. Wonderful malt/hop balance. Lacks residual sweetness common in Winter Warmers. Very tasty, nonetheless.

Another Usher-ale that ends up being a bit too sweet for it's own good......

Very complex brew, with a very deep, malty aroma with notes of pear, black cherry soda, honey, and demerara sugar, and malty, fruity body , and a syrupy finish.
