A hopped up roasty as hell export porter. Generous use of black and crystal malts provides a big coffee hit, followed by a grapefruit finish from the Cascade, Chinook and Columbus hops.

Tap at the Birmingham Beer Bash, 2016. Poured a clear reddish dark brown with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is big roasty malt, molasses, chocolate, coffee. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter with a rich, dry, smoky, dry coffee liqourice bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Keg at The Twisted Barrel Brewery Tap, Friday 8th July 2016 Soft aroma, dark brown in colour with a light tan head, a little murky. Roasty but with a fairly brutal (yet pleasant) bitter bite. Tastes really drinkable but tastes more like a Black IPA as opposed to a Porter. A6 A4 T8 P4 Ov14 3.6
