My final Friday night beer was a plum porter, my first Saturday morning beer is a plum porter, which begs the question...do I have a plum porter drinking problem? No problem with this soft and easy textured brew. The plum is good in both aroma and taste as it is not too sweet. Hazy brown appearance.

Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with a medium sized frothy cream head and good lacing. There’s plums and malts in a delicate aroma. In the mouth it is sweet and juicy with plums, roasted malts and dark fruits. Fruits are distinct but not overwhelming. Finish is slightly dry and fruity. This is nice – with plums complementing rather than dominating.
