Bottle pour at Small Pony, pours a hazy bright red with a small white head. Aroma reveals the cranberries upfront, with the raspberries further back, and the usual oaky, bugginess that permeates these sours. Flavour nicely blends nicely tart raspberries and cranberries upfront, with oak, some wild yeast, and moderate funk. As usual, the acidity level is through the roof, which definitely detracts a bit from what would otherwise be an excellent beer. Enjoyable in small quantities with a side of TUMS.

A lightly hazed burgundy red ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light tart cranberries, raspberry pulp, light Epsom salts, very nice. In mouth, a nice tart mix of cranberry and raspberries, light acidity, tart and puckering. Bottle at brewery.
