Pours clear amber, medium small white head. Scent is smokey , DMS, earhty, bit herbal. Taste is full, light bitterness. DMS, bit sweet, barbecue. Earthy, bit herbal. very interesting, as I hate smoked and DMS, but this beer is quite… enjoyable. surprising!

Tap @ Borefts 2017. Amber color. Smoke, beechwood and juniper in the malty aroma. Malty, bready, beechwood and juniper in the dry flavor. Tarry finish. Good.

On tap at HaandFest. A golden colored beer with a light beige head. Clear body and lasting head. The aroma is smoked, with a faint peated touch and some woody juniper scents. Caramel, roasted malts and a touch of coffee. The flavor has some bready malts, along with caramel and roasted notes, smoke and juniper berries. Some tannin-ish wood. It's full-bodied, smooth and nicely carbonated, rather sweet, with a lasting smoked, bready and rustique finish. A nice one indeed. 170527

Draught @ 9th. BBF 2017 [ 9th Borefts Beer Festival 2017 ] @ Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As Närke Mimer Alus ].Clear medium to light amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, juniper, spicy, wood, mint, light caramel, a smokey notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, pale malt, juniper, mint, wood, light smokey. Keg @ Haket. Murky brown pour with a small frothy tan head. Malty, smokey & herbal nose. Caramel & sweet bread. Sweet, slightly bitter, malty & herbal taste. Weird but as always with Närke, good.

@Borefts 2017 van tap, helder caramelbruine kleur met lichte kraag. aroma en smaken van graan, kruidig, zoet, zacht, wat weeïge mout, kruidig, wat gerookte mout, nah.
