On tap at Craft Beer Oasis, Crewe. Pours almost black with minimal cream head. Not much aroma at all – just some traces of burnt toffee and roasted malts. In the mouth it is sweet and very watery . Flavour is dandelion and burdock and malts with a little cough mixture. Slightly fruity in the finish. Bland and insipid – if McDonalds made stout …

Keg @ Flying Horse Hotel, Rochdale. Very dark, but not quite black, with a creamy off-white head. Crisp with a slightly more stout like texture and taste, although certainly not as stated as a stout could be. It’s full-bodied though.
