On tap at Craft Beer Oasis, Crewe. Pours almost black with minimal cream head. Not much aroma at all โ just some traces of burnt toffee and roasted malts. In the mouth it is sweet and very watery . Flavour is dandelion and burdock and malts with a little cough mixture. Slightly fruity in the finish. Bland and insipid โ if McDonalds made stout โฆ

Black pour with a fine beige head. Ok lacing Looks fine and inviting Mild intensity in the aroma Balanced sweetness and a semi dry ending Flavorโฆ.hmmm almost nothing. Some roast and cold coffee [Cask at Quakerhouse in Darlington, England] Brewery #2111

ABV: (4.1)%. Clear dark brown colour with a large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, toffee, caramel, burnt caramel, sweet malt, brown sugar, light toasted - roasted. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, dark malt, toffee, burnt caramel, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180725]

Keg @ Flying Horse Hotel, Rochdale. Very dark, but not quite black, with a creamy off-white head. Crisp with a slightly more stout like texture and taste, although certainly not as stated as a stout could be. Itโs full-bodied though.
