My first Badlands gusher... A milky yellow ipa with a thick frothy lacing white head, overcarbonated. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with loads of resinous floral hops, light mineral notes, tropical fruit, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with resinous floral hops, light mineral notes, light tropical fruits, very nice. Can from brewery.

(473ml can from the brewery webshop) Pours . Aroma of nice intense citrus peels and oils, especially tangerine, with a mixed tropical fruit cocktail and some nectarine in there, fairly dank, brioche malt vibes underneath but nice juice. Flavour is slightly sweet up front with more tangerine, nectarine, dank fruity grapey/berry type notes in the middle of the sip, creamy tropical vibes too, softly bready malt, drying completely on the finish with mixed citrus peel and Five Alive hits, quite low bitterness and a little minerality. Medium bodied and somewhat creamy, a bit overcarbonated but better when swirled. A big step up from Batch 2 in returning to the bottle-level brews in both feel and hop character, nice one.
