Saison style beer began life as a pale ale brewed in cooler months in Wallonia that was served to seasonal workers gathering the harvest. Basically, it tastes great all year round, making Shoestring a worthy addition to this revered line.

Keg @ Drink? Hebden Bridge. Amber-orange with a carbonation and a mild tanginess. There's a hint of spice and orange. Dry.

Bottle from the Brewery via eebria. Pours clear golden orange with a short-lived thick white head. Quite high carbonation. Aromas are strongly estery, lots of yeast character. Spicy. Taste is spicy, light sweet, bready. Dry finish.

ABV: 5.0%. Cloudy medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, pale malt, moderate yeast, fruity yeast, dough, vanilla, herbs, saison yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet yeast, vanilla, herbs, dough. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180724]

19/7/2018. Keg at Pleased To Meet You, Newcastle. Pours a hazy golden colour with a small lasting off-white head. Aroma of vanilla, citrus, yeast, berries, candy, strawberry & cream sweets and light herbal notes. Moderate sweetness, light bitterness, lightest tint of tartness. Moderate body, quite creamy texture, average carbonation. Enjoyable.
