This batch of the original Kook Birds inspired riff uses our well known Extra Special Monk Lager aged in the second fill of Strathcona Spirits Pinot Gin barrels for one and a half years. The strong peach and tangerine flavours as well as its tropical papaya aromas come from a heavy dry hopping with Southern Passion. The overall fruitiness is balanced by a present bitterness and flavours of fresh thyme. Despite its high alcohol this light gold brew is smooth and surprisingly approachable.
