Bottle from Taste of Northumbria. Appearance - amber with not much head to speak of. Nose - cake and light orange. Taste - orange and cake. Burnt bread. Palate - close to medium bodied. Tangy middle and finish. A touch sweet too. Overall - not as the brewer intended I am guessing.

Gravity cask at Broood, Leicester. Almost light brown, ever-so-slightly hazy, and almost flat. Light but engaging aroma of orchard fruit and white grape. Taste is bittersweet, slightly pungent and almost acrid at first but it settles to a more balanced beer toward the finish. A touch of Chardonnay in the aftertaste. Mouthfeel is flat but it has more body than I expected for the style or ABV. Not too shabby.
