Every complex beer has different layers and nuances that, together, duliver a singular tasting experience. This black IPA has a roasty malt bill that is accompanied by notes of melon and pine from the blend of new age and old school hops, along with a hint of chocolate in the background. A dark reddish brown ipa with a thin light mocha head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with dark fruits, resinous hops, light dank notes, pleasant. In mouth, sweet caramel chocolate malt with light resinous hops, very nice. On tap at The Joyce.
