Did you know tiramisu means “Pick me up” in Italian? Did you know Beeramisu doesn’t really mean anything because it’s a word that we made up? We also made this Imperial Stout as an ode to Tiramisu — the coffee-flavoured dessert of which dreams are made.

Imperial Stouts are a laborious undertaking — mashing in a literal ton of wet malt + time = sore arms and very hungry after — but the results are well worth the extra effort. Beeramisu is a BIG Imperial Stout that proffers tantalizing aromas and flavours of coffee, vanilla, and chocolate transported on a thick and voluptuous body.

A deep dark stout with a thin lacing brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with loads of coffee, pleasant vanilla, nice. In mouth, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, light coffee and vanilla, alcohol warmth, pleasant.
