Clear dark brown beer, practically no head. Aroma: very roasted, coffee, caramel, dark chocolate, more coffee. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: pretty roasted, coffee, bit sourish, decent, some alcohol, more roasted flavours. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, charcoal, lots and lots of coffee, more roast.

On tap at Borefts Beer Festival, Friday 22nd September 2017. Soft in the mouth, black, clings to the side of the glass, roasty, smooth and well put together. Light coffee, creamy but good roast throughout. Another truly excellent beer from La Pirata. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov14 3.7

Tap at Borefts 2017. Black with light brown head. Sweet chocolate, roast, velvety creamy nuts, light licorice and toffee. Over medium sweet and medium bitter. Over medium bodied.
