A complex malt bill that marries together different flavours and hues to produce a vibrant red colour and mighty body. 6 different malts are hopped with large amounts of Columbus and Mosaic to give a full, smooth mouthfeel with a slightly spicy finish.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy dark amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, well lacing, beige head. Slightly spicy, rye malty aroma, grassy, herbal and fruity hoppy overtones, a touch of mint. Taste is rye malty spicy, moderately bitter, herbal and fruity hoppy, spicy hints of hay, some yellow stone fruit, a citrusy touch.

Bottle shared at Pre-Borefts Ratebeer Tasting 2016. Hazy amber with a small off white head. Aroma of malt, green hops, light herbal notes and fruits. Flavour is light sweet and heavy bitter. Light bodied with soft carbonation. [22-09-2016]

Thank you chriso (?). 330 ml. bottle sampled @ Pre-Borefts Ratebeer Tasting 2016. Red amber, toffee, tanned head. Nose is basic empty toffee, sugar, lightly metallic. Taste is fizzy with some interesting toffee malts, lightly herbal, sugar, bit metallic. Malty body, lightly metallic. Bit dull & metallic but the malt profile is an interesting one & saves it a bit for me.

Bottle. Amber color with beige head. Aroma is coffee, toffee, caramel. Taste is schwarzbrot, coffee and toffee, and a bitter earthy finish. Medium carbonation. Nice and classic.

Bottle at Pre-Borefts tasting. Caramel, earthy, light roasted malts, bitter herbs, really not much else. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied. Not bad.

Sampled @ Pre-Borefts-Tasting 2016. Trübes dunkel orange goldenes Bier mit geringen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch nach rotem Malz, sehr hopfig, leicht holzig. Geschmack sehr hopfig bitter, rotes Malz, Karamell, leicht nussig.

Trockener, sehr herb hopfiger Antrunk. Deutliche dunkle Getreidenoten, rund hopfig. Trotz der Trockenheit spritzig. Gut! 11/10/10/10/9/11
