Gedronken bij Brew@thezoo. Donkerbruin bier met mooie beige schuimkraag. Aroma van koffie. Smaak is eveneens koffieachtig en licht bitter. De koffiesmaak blijft wel even hangen.

12/12/2020. Bottle sample courtesy of saxo/fonefan. Pours dark brown with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma of dried fruits, roasted malt, wood, chocolate, toffee, molasses, coffee, gentle spices and mulled red wine notes. Moderate sweetness and medium roasted bitterness. Full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Rich warming finish. Good stuff.

ABV: 11.0%. Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, dried fruit, wood, oak, alcohol, light coffee - chocolate, moderate yeasty, belgian yeast - abt yeast, dark fruit, sweet yeast. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, wood, belgian yeast, abt yeast, dark fruit, dark malt, barrel - vanilla, light coffee - chocolate, light spicy - nutmeg. Body is medium to medium full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming. [20201205]

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, dark malts, light coffee, dried fruit, wood and red wine. Flavor is very sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish with lots of warming alcohol. 051220
