Poured up on tap at the brewery where it exhibits an opaque deep gold body that has copper hues and supports a near white head of foam. The modest aroma offers up floral hops, some citrus and a bit of tropical fruitiness. The taste delivers bitter floral hops, pine hops, a dash of pineapple, guava and a faint cracker like maltiness. This is bitter hops forward and that’s working for me.

Can from Final Gravity in Roseville, CA. Pours brassy gold with a transient white head. Aroma is pretty mixed hop. I think pineapple/citrus covers it. Med body or a bit better. Flavor is, dare I say, somewhat herbal in a near dank way. Guess I’m just not able to parse the hops very well. I can think I’m getting pine, citrus, tropical - but that seems over analyzed. Let’s concentrate on the ale. It’s really hoppy. It’s bitter. The malt is enough for support, but no more. It makes me feel dankish. I’ve had danker, but ... And oddly enough, with brain taking time out, when the brain came back online there seems to be a fair touch of pineapple. It’s a damn good drink. Analysis can be overdone when it’s time for fun.

Draught at Harry’s Hofbrau. First review of the beer! Sweet malt, floral and tropical hops in moderate high amounts. Clear pale yellow with moderate white head. Slick mouthfeel but thins out. Slight floral and tropical aspects. Solid on all accounts.
