Tap at the Raccoonn Lodge. Pours veery dark brown with a tan head. Malt/chocolate aroma. Med plus body. Flavor is earthy dark chocolate and really dark somewhat bittter malt. But it is dry!!! Bitter too. Excellent.

On tap at Cascade, pours a red-tinted dark brown / black with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out notes of oats and dry cocoa. Flavour is along the same lines, with very dry oats dominating this. A touch of dry cocoa and bready notes as well. Pretty boring but decent.

Draft pour pint at special brews. Pours a dark cola color with a quick fizz away head. Very mild roasted malt aroma. Flavor is pretty toasty as well, but overall light. Easy drinking. Obvious low abv. Pretty good.

@ Elizabeth Station, Bellingham. Medium brown. Aroma is fairly fudgey. Sweet and very fudgey, with a little nuttiness as well. Sweetish accent to the finish.
