8.2% Black with a head that fizzes out quickly. There's a fine but intense carbonation, a detracting factor. Aroma has sweetened coffee, dark malts with a little roast and a touch of liquorice. Flavour is similar although slightly more bitter. Has potential. Needs less carbonation and a slicker, fuller feel with more heavy roasted bitterness.

440ml can. Poured a hazy dark brown colour with a thin broken tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, light coffee. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter, with an earthy, watery, dry, liqourice hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Promised so much but was a big disappointment.
