Bomber from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours gold with a white head. Very unusual aroma. Makes me think of grass and oysters. And leather. Med + body. Flavor is earthy. Earthy. It’s dry and hoppy. And earthy. Tho there are some hints of fruit and floral. I can see why those with ... ah, hell .... this is different and it’s really good. I got into sour. I’m into Rakau. Whatever it is. Wake up people. This is really, really, good - just not what we are usually experiencing. Did I say it’s really, really good?

Bottle, 4/15/2016 date. Pours clear orange, medium beige head, great lacing. Aroma is very floral, perfume, orange peel. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Rakau may not be the best single hop choice.

Bottle to pint glass. Massive amounts of dank, grass, pine and cloying fir needles. Pours a very clear gold with fluffy white head that remains throughout the glass. Slight patterns but they leave quickly. Taste is resiny and dank, very oily. High bitterness and almost no malt present.

(tap) clear yellow colour with a small white head; faint (mosaic) pungent funk aroma; clean, balanced, bit fruity flavour with a long, light bitter finish
