Bottle as a trade extra. Pours opaque black, medium brown head, creamy and slow to dissipate, nice lacing. Aroma is cocoa, espresso, hazelnut, cinnamon, whiskey, vanilla. Surprisingly complex and interesting. Flavor is fully sweet, light plus bitter, loads of espresso, hint of sharpness, quite boozy. Full body, creamy mouthfeel. Interesting, but I liked it less the more I had.

Bomber from AJs in Soquel, CA. Pours very dark brown with a creamy dark tan head. Aroma of coffee - light here - alcohol and fruit. Med + body. It’s almost like this had been in a wine barrel. Guess that’s the heat and fruit. But it’s whiskey - and I guess for me the whiskey is suggesting fruit. Interesting and fairly good tasting. Whiskey does seem to dominate the coffee.
