Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours deep dark brown with a creamy dark tan head. Aroma of bourbon and chocolate, with dark treacle. Full bodied or nearly. The bourbon and alcohol knocked my socks off, and the chocolate treacle with oak astringency (despite lots of treacle) is really tasty. Somehow the bourbon and oak are acting like hop to keep the sugar under control. This is lovely stuff.
