Dark golden with a white head - Swwet malt and vanilla with some woody notes in the aroma - Good malt body with sweet vanilla and wood flavours - The wood and vanilla goes into a long finish that lasts - This was nice

Bomber from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours a slightly ambery gold with an off-white head. Aroma seems fruity hop with a hint of anise. Full bodied. Flavor is vanilla/oak, spice, arguably anise, and some mixed fruits. Typical tripel smooth malt. Mild spice/oak burn. Doesn’t "feel" like heat, tho heat is detectable. Rather nicely flavored and the oak is "helpful".
