Re-rate 1/26/17: Bottle/Can/Crowler/Growler at a bottle share at Flamingo Hotel in Santa Rosa. 2016 bottle, 16%. Wood, sweet, whiskey, cookies, caramel, nuts, vanilla. Way better than the 2015 version. 7/3/8/3/16=3.7
Bottle sample at a tasting at Noam’s place. Thanks Levi. Hazy deep red-amber with a beige head. Kinda boozy aroma with whiskey, malt, caramel, vanilla. Sweet flavor with malt, caramel, whiskey, vanilla, and some warming alcohol. A bit too heavy and boozy for my liking. Also kinda simplistic - basically like caramelly malt + Jameson whiskey. Not bad though. 6/3/6/3/12=3

Tap at the California Brewers Showcase Festival. Pours dark brown with no head. Aroma of Irish whiskey. Full bodied. Seems more like American Strong than Irish, but the brewer insisted. Flavor is brown sugar, lots of Irish Whiskey and and some heat. It is delicious and amazing!
