Rich and smooth Baltic Porter brewed with coconut, vanilla, and cardamom.

Taste: The taste of a smooth and creamy vanilla milkshake combines with the chocolate malt character before the palate is flooded with oily coconut and sweet oats. Finally cardamon comes through, balanced by a delicate spiciness from the hops - the body transporting you to winter nights surrounded by family.

Pours black into a snifter. Mocha head with medium retention recedes to nothing. Chocolate and vanilla aromas. Soft and thin with chocolate syrup and vanilla upfront turning to mildly sharp and dry, coconut and espresso in the spicy finish.

From the tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours black with brown foam, irregular. Aroma is vanilla-intensive, though coconut was more evident when colder, plus of course an intense roasted feeling of coffee and liquor filled chocolate. Body is dense and sticky, with some tongue tickling carbonation. Taste is a nice mix of sweet toasted and bitter. Finish is long and bitter.

A black beer, a head is dark brown and small. Aroma has spicyness in the fron, coconut, cardamom, some chocolate and liquorice. Taste has strong spicyness, cardamom, roastiness in the end, quite sweet but that's ok. Medium+ bodied, smooth, not stickyness. Too much of spicyness but nicely drinkable, anyway.

Zwart bier zonder schuim. Smaak is zoet en bitter met iets van cocos, vanille, koffie en bittere chokolade. Echt genieten van dit bier.

Bottle at Koht, Tallinn. Pours dark, almost black, no real head and no carbonation. Which is OK. Nose is full on cardamom, lots of vanilla. Taste medium bodied, not that sweet actually, almost even dry with lots of gingerbread spices. Drinkability is decent and flavour profile interesting for sure. Some chocolaty roast and herbal-spicy bitterness coming out in the finish. Light lactic bitter chocolate linger. Good.
