Imaginary Day follows our brewers' movements through foraging and harvesting, brewing and fermentation, and extensive barrel aging to produce an exquisite beer for you to enjoy. Crafted from pale malt, white wine grapes, and fresh botanicals, then aged for over one year in white and red wine barrels, this dry and delicate golden beer expresses enormous complexity.

375mL bottle, final batch, purchased December 2024 from the brewery. ABV up to 9% from previous 6.5% batch.
Clear, blonde-honey. Incredibly-fizzy head fizzles away quickly to nothing.
Big yarrow-like vibes with a round, softy, honey-rich maltiness to balance. Light oak, minimal grape and lingering heavy herbal spice.
Soft, thick, rich, juicy, big bready and honey-like malts with a bit of "run-away-hot-fermentation-alcohol" character. The herbs are intense and spicy, deep and lightly medicinal reminding me heavily of yarrow. Love the slightly syrupy texture to balance the oak, acidity and herbal bitterness. It does it admirably and the beer finishes with and shows lingering honey, bread, oak and gentle white wine. All the while the herbs lighten somewhat.
