Tap at Dock Street. Not sure why anyone would ever choose to age an imperial stout in a pinot noir barrel, cuts through a lot of the chocolate, leaving an unpleasant booze laden vinous tone. Heavy and cumbersome. Awkward booze tones, limited finesse. Not that good.

Bottle thanks to Dallas. Pours a black color with almost no head. A sweet oaky nose with some fruit and roast. The flavor is very good; cocoa, dry, a smooth thin palate, quite fruity perhaps from the pinot noir, no tartness, very drinkable some prunes and berries. Quite good. This is a case where a thin palate works.
