Not sure if there’s too much vanilla or if there’s just nothing to the brown ale in the first place, but this pint’s like 90% vanilla bean and 10% chocolate/caramel/nuts. Finishes with the slightest bit of roast bitterness. Eh.

On tap at Man in the Moon. Dark brown with a small head. Vanilla, malt, toffee, some chocolate and notes of coffee. An ok one.

16oz can. Really nice, true to style brown ale. Malty, vanilla accentuates the sweetness. Refreshing, medium bodied, balanced. Straightforward, good.

Pour is a very dark brown, almost black with a small tan head. Aroma is toasted malt and a strong cold brewed coffee. Flavor has more of the vanilla used albeit not a abundance of vanilla. Finish has some dry roast. The coffee in the aroma is not found in the flavor but the malt and adjuncts make up for that. Decent beer that's not as sweet as I thought it was going to be.
