At the source: poirs pale yellow with a white head. Aroma is lemons, lacto, buttered popcorn, yeast. Taste is buttered corn pops. Light sourness. Fruity finish. Not bad.

Draught at the brewery, 7/10/16.
Thoroughly hazy, pale golden-blonde body is topped by a small, modestly well-retained head for a sour.
Lemon, grains, lactic acid and very light, soft wheat suggestions give way to black pepper phenolics and light earthiness. Sourness isn’t overdone and I love the use of sorachi instead of coriander/orange peel. Sorachi definitely mimics the orange peel nicely, adding its tell tale lemon-tangerine and slight woody spice. No alcohol or flaw.
Tightly carbonated with a soft, wheat-heavy texture showing big cream of wheat flavors lots of tart lactic acid and tangerine-like citrus notes that in sum, actually remain on the softer side. Though with warming, the tartness does catch up some. Very drinkable and clean with appropriately medium carbonation.

Pours hazy pale gold into a snifter. White head with good retention recedes to skim surface. Light wheat aromas. Soft and thin with mild caramel and summer fruit upfront turning to mild sourdough in the abrupt finish.
