Smooth, creamy, and sessionable. Maine Grains flaked oats provide great body and flavor. Pleasant citrus notes from Idaho 7 and Lemondrop hops.

Draught at the brewery and 32oz growler drunk later that evening, 7/3/16.
Drab copper-brass, clear with a slight chill-haze and a medium-sized white head showing moderate retention.
My favorite of the bunch I tried at the brewery, by a good margin, the pocatello produces delicate honey and baguette notes in the nose alongside fresh, fruity hop notes of lilac, lemon, nectarine and light pine. Just a hint of resinous grapefruit, but itβs fleeting and the more it warms, the more you can smell the oatmeal. Maybe Iβm just fooling myself, but it has a very rich, yet subtle oat character that is actually wonderfully charming. Add to that no alcohol or flaw and no resin found in their IPAs.
Soft, oat-heavy texture still shows a bit of grain and hardness, but this is by far the best texture on any of their beers. Quite dry, with lemon, lilac, dried herbs and nectarine-like hop notes. Chewy, rich oatmeal flavors abound on the finish, especially with warming. Moderately bitter, with just a hint of pine at times. Medium amounts of tight carbonation and no alcohol or flaw in flavor.
