0,44l can at home. Canned 11.04.2018. BB 11.10.2018 (I think that is what the print said). black color, small coffee colored head. smells earthy, coffee, coffee roast, nutty, some lactose, milk chocolate. very nice smell. medium body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes earthy, nutty, bit peppery, bit toasty, tobacco, hints of coffee. finishes lightly dry with almost no roast and notes of nuts, earth and some peppery notes. nice to very nice one. Loved the smell, taste is nice but almost a bit too boring. Almost only earthy and nutty notes, not much coffee there. Also finishes trails away a bit, it either lacks a bit more carbonation or a bit more roasty punch / some more dryness. I liked the base version bit more, overall still rather nice one.

440ml can. Very dark brown with a thick tan head. Aroma has an enormous amount of coffee, roast malts, a little dark chocolate. Taste is also massive coffee, roast malts, dark chocolate, dark fruits, lactose, perhaps some vanilla sweetness... it's more subtle than in the original version. Overall it's rich and more complex, and also much more bitter. Medium bodied, great mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice beer.
