Pint at the brewpub, 5/14/16.
Soft, flaxen-gold body has a light to moderately-light haze to it and a firm but small white head atop it.
Hops show very light, somewhat muted citrus, as a light bread character, almost nutty (assumedly the rye) dulls things somewhat. The yeast signature is fresh and enjoyable, but there’s just so little actual aroma here. Light biscuits and more bread on the finish, with spicy/citric hops barely interjecting themselves. Clean though, with no alcohol.
Nutty/chewy texture with low carbonation and light sweetness. It seems to be a bit undermalted, with too much raw rye character dulling things. Very watery, yet with whatever is in suspension further adding to the blandness. Citrus, light pine and spiciness from the hops is very thin and fleeting, but the beer is clean and the carbonation mostly engaging.

On tap at the source. Slightly hazy deep yellow smallish white head. Spicy lemony citrus with a sweet bready maltiness underneath. Crushable summer brew.
